RK12: ultra-rugged 15″ laptop compatible with Windows 7 & 10

The new RODA RK12 portable maintains the same form factor as the previous RK generation. Intended primarily for defense applications and often integrated into military vehicles, a form factor identical to previous models in the range offers customers the assurance of perpetuating their mechanical integration investment in vehicles while benefiting from a more efficient with the latest technology.

This durability is doubly ensured thanks to the Intel® Core™ i7 platform capable of supporting Windows 10 but also and still Windows 7.

Ultra resistant and powerful

Robust, the Roda RK12 militarized laptop is IP65 waterproof to liquids and dust. Sealing is guaranteed even when the I/O protection hatches are open, which makes the RK12, like all RODA models, unique products with no equivalent among the competition. MIL-STD-810G certification for drops, shocks, extreme temperatures, vibrations, altitude, make the RK12 a PC capable of withstanding all attacks and hazards in an operational situation. Optional certifications to MIL-STD-461G ‘Ground Army’ or TEMPEST SDIP 27 Level B standards make the RK12 give the RK12 very high levels of security in disturbed or sensitive environments.

In addition to its resistance to all tests, the RK12 is equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor and Intel® HD graphics, which offers all the power necessary for the most demanding applications and for a long duration thanks to its 90W battery.

A multitude of connections

One of the many strengths of the RK12 is its ability to offer multiple I/Os and on demand with military grade connectors for many of them. Thus up to 4x RS232/422/485, 2x gigabit LAN, a fiber optic port and many USB ports can be integrated on the back of the laptop to meet the most varied and specific needs. This is the great strength of this laptop.

4G, Bluetooth and GPS wireless means are also optional modules available to the user.
