Its compact, fanless design provides unlimited customization capability. The R8 is also MIL-STD-810H certified to withstand drops up to 6 feet, and boasts IP66 and ANSI/UL C1D2 certifications for smooth operation in even the most hazardous environments.

Rugged yet versatile, the R8’s expansion options include a barcode reader, RJ-45, RS-232 serial port, RFID (NFC) reader, smart card and magnetic stripe reader. Optional other accessories include an extended battery and additional USB-A ports for increased efficiency.
